Summer Trends

Good Morning brides to be!

Everyone is always eager to keep up with the latest trends so we thought we'd fill you in on what the trend is this wedding season. We all love pastels whether that be pastel nail polish, pastel clothing, pastel hair, or a pastel coloured wedding! We were thrilled to learn that the trend of the summer 2018 is Lilac - or pastel purple! 

The good news for you, is that we have some amazing biodegradable confetti which will match perfect with this colour theme. Firstly, our Amethyst Flake hydrangea petals would be the perfect petals for this! With the lilac middle and the white edge, these give the ulitamte effect when used as part of a mix for throwing confetti or they can also be used as wedding decor! When we say wedding decor, we actually mean table decor or aisle decor. Some people would never consider petals for decor but they are fab! Even our larkspur petals make fab table decor - even though these are what we would reccommend for the best throwing confetti. This can be seen in the image below where one happy couple used Mr Popular as table decoration. 

If you're looking for something a little more, purple, then maybe our Heather hydrangea's are more up your street. These once again, can be used as part of a mix for your throwing confetti or as decor. These look fabulous with our ivory larkspur petals (the Main Ingredient) for throwing. However, if you're looking to stick to the theme, strictly purple, then our Lavender larkspur petals are the ones for you! These are a deeper purple than both our Heather and Amethyst Flake hydrangea petals but Larkspur is the best for throwing confetti due it being naturally dried and therefore lighter so stays in the air longer. 

We also have a confetti jar which would fit with this theme perfectly! And on a positive note, the jars are plastic, meaning everynone can get involved in creating the all important confetti moment without having to worry about the jars getting dropped and broken. The jars can be filled with any of our Larkspur petals and they were created with the fact that they can be shared in mind. So, ultimately, this means that you only need to cater for half of the guests attending your big day. The image below shows the Purple confetti jar, but if you're not having a purple or lilac wedding then these are available in a range of colours. 

All of our petals are biodegradable and therefore, they are accepted at most venues. However, it is worth checking with your venue before purchasing.
