June Wedding With Biodegradable Wedding Confetti

Good afternoon ladies!

With April drawing to a close very shortly and May creeping in on us, we have decided to tell you about which colours we think are best for a June wedding. Of course we think bright, vibrant colours are best for the summer seasons, however, pastel, pale colours also work with a summer wedding. If you're going to be a boho bride this summer then maybe you have opted for the pale, natural, botanical colours such as green and pale pink. Or perhaps you're throwing a tropical bonanza, in which flourescent colours are best!

All of our petals are biodegradabe and therefore, they are accepted at most venues; although, we recommend checking before hand. For anyone who has chosen to go down the soft, pale colour scheme we think our Cotton Candy, pink larkspur petals would make the best throwing confetti. Larkspur petals are the best petals for throwing confetti as they are naturally dried and lighter so therefore they stay up in the air for longer, meaning your photographer has a better chance of capturing your confetti moment. To continue, our Mr Popular larkspur mix would also look spectacular; this is a mix of colours including ivory, pink an purple.

To move away from larkspur petals, our blue Ocean hydrangea petals are also a great option for this colour scheme. They too make a great confetti moment but these also look good as wedding decor, either on tables or aisles and walk ways. By no means are we saying larkspur petals can't be used as decor, but these are the type of petals that we would recommend for the most effective throwing confetti. If your wedding is very botanical and has lots of greenery, our green Apple Blossom hydrangeas would be perfect for this wedding theme. Again, these can be used in a mix for throwing confetti or they can be used as part of the decor. Petals look amazing dispered around your cake! And we recommend that you use a colour that isnt as predominant in your cake - for example if you have a cake that is white with pastel pink and a deeper pink in, maybe use the deeper pink to match with a petal that you can use to use around your cake for decoration.  Rose petals always make the best decor! We have a range of rose petals, however we have our Hint of Pink rose petals or our Pink Marzipan rose petals which suit the pastel theme the most.

On the other hand, if you've gone for the tropical theme then we also have some great petals for you, which again are biodegradable. Our Divine rose petals are the best for decor and this bright pink colour ties in with a tropical theme lovely. In addition, we have some vibrant orange and yellow rose petals. Our sunset rose petals have even been featured in the Bride Magazine! Which we were extremely excited about.

We have some pre-made mixes such as our sun, sea and sprinkles mix which includes ivory larkspur, yellow roses and blue hydrangeas. This would make stunning wedding confetti with a mix of colours bursting through. If you arrange a confetti moment picture with your photographer and you've used some of our products then we would love to see them. However, if you take a look at our mixes and decide that there is none to suit your theme, you can create your own mix in our mixing bowl.

To ensure your confetti moment has a tropical vibe, we would reccomend our lemon and ginger larkspur petals; these are a vibrant yellow colour so again, these tie in perfectly with the tropical, summer theme. Or perhaps you'd prefer our Mulberry larkspur petals which are a deep, flourescent pink colour. Inject that pop of colour into your confetti moment by choosing our petals and getting that highly anticipated confetti moment picture.

Whatever you've decided to go for this summer, we have definitely got you covered with our vast range of biodegradable petals. Browse our website to find the colour to suit your theme and don't hesitiate to get in contact with us if you have any questions reguarding quantities. We get a lot of repeat orders and not that we mind, but purely for your convenience, if you give us a call then this can be avoided.

Talking of June, we are also starting our June Bride Diaries entries very shortly! So these will be available to read soon. Our June brides are Louise, Gemma and Zoe. So keep checking back to read their wedding planning stories.

We hope that all of you bride-to-be's out there are enjoying your wedding planning experience!
