Hello people! Another bride diary entry today and this one comes from the lovely Ami. Ami has chosen to tell us about something a little bit different to some of our other brides. Not that we don't love the rest of our bride diary blogs, because we definitely do; but Ami has told us about organising her ceremony.

When we asked her the favorite part of planning her wedding, she said that she felt obliged to say the dress, or even the car, but the part she truly enjoyed the most was the planning of the ceremomy. Of course you have to get this bit exactly how you want it as ulitmately, this is the moment you will remember for the rest of your life! Ami told us that she is SO excited to marry her best friend, even if she does sometimes feel like killing him. We know the feeling Ami!!!

Ami has picked three songs, two readings and who will walk down the aisle and when. Organisation at its finest. Ami and her hubby-to-be have finally decided on two readings from the bible, which mean something to both of them. These being Mark 10 verses 6 and 9 and Colossians 3 12-17. Ami explained that they chose these inparticular as they consider these to be the most appropirate when thinking of how they will become one once they are married and she said that although it is an older tradition to think that way, they both think of their wedding as the coming together of one family.

Their walk in song is Dove Cameron - If Only, as Ami's six year old will be giving her away and it's one of their favourite songs.  So cute! Their walk out song is Jess Glynne and Clean Bandit - Rather Be. Ami said that just because they're getting married in a church, it doesn't have to be boring! We could not agree more Ami!!!

They wanted a mixture of traditional and modern elements to their wedding, so they also have Amazing Grace, This little light of mine and can you hear the sound of heaven as their hymns. Ami also said that you don't have to wait for the vicar, even if you've never been to church before, you can use Google for advice and to look at any of the services.

Ami gave one vital piece of advice ... Make YOUR wedding about YOU! We think this is great advice and every bride should remember this.

Happy planning brides.
